Текст песни Ella Fitzgerald — Ev Ry Time We Say Goodbye
"Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye" is a song by Cole Porter, introduced in 1944 in Billy Rose's musical revue, Seven Lively Arts. Notable is Porter's use of word painting; as the lyrics 'from major to minor' are sung, the song literally changes its tonality from major to minor.
Legacy
The song became a jazz standard, recorded by Ella Fitzgerald on Verve Records in 1956 and again in 1974 on her live Pablo release Ella in London.
